Peak Leaves

The peak leaf time is just about here for Maggie Valley. The next 10 days should be perfect for leaf viewing. Even though we finally had some rain it was not accompanied by any wind so the leaves stayed on the trees much better then we thought they would.
If you are wanting to see the beauty of autumn the next week or two should be awesome.

The leaves are starting to change above the 4,000 foot level. We are predicting peak to be about the last week of October this year.
For those coming earlier rides on the Blue Ridge Parkway will start to be very rewarding. As I look out my window I can see one northern slope turned very nicely.
As you know we have one of the most gorgeous views possible. We face into an unbelievably beautiful range. From our front decks you can view Slopes facing East West and North.
Because the leaves are running late there should be great viewing through the first week of November as well. It also gives you the opportunity to make a late reservation because our heaviest bookings are in the middle of the month.
